Exmoor Swaling Season assisted by Brendon Fire Fighting Bowser

Brendon Powerwashers have assisted Quantock Hills National Landscape team, using a BBW30KLN+ES as a Fire Fighting Bowser Washer to help with the swaling season yet again on Exmoor. Our 3000PSI Diesel Bowser tanks holds nearly 1000 litres of water making it ideal for such a task. The Swaling season on Exmoor typically runs from October 1st until April 15th the following year. Swaling involves controlled burns that are carefully planned and managed. This helps maintain the landscape by rejuvenating moorland plants, providing grazing for livestock and creating habitats for wildlife. Although not used for the project this year, Brendon Powerwashers have now developed an official Fire Fighting Bowser and Powerwasher, BBFP1000HP (Petrol) and the BBFP1000YD (Diesel) models.

These trailers are engineered for durability, portability and formidable power. The Fire Fighting Bowser has a capacity of up to 1000 Litres to swiftly combat fires. Featuring cutting-edge safety features including a self-priming pump and push button ignition, as well as a 30m fire hose reel kit to keep you a safe distance from fires. Also the fast fill option refills in just 2 minutes with a loose 6m 2” suction hose from an external water source, such as a river or water storage. These fully road legal Fire Fighting Bowser Trailers are fully road legal. In places like Australia, some have even been sent to help deal with bush fires. These units are also easily switchable, to be able to convert from a fire fighting unit to a powerful powerwasher. To see an in depth video of the features, click here.
